I found the flywheel gear and large bearing in a field and they absolutely had to stay together. Lottie is a kinetic wind sculpture that can live outdoors with the best of them. The center part is balanced on a piece of tungsten carbide that is sharpened to a fine point. Only gravity keeps them together. There is less than 1/64th of an inch connecting the two pieces. A gentle breeze can move it very softly or a bigger wind can buzz it around.
