This table was commissioned by Beachcities Church in Huntington Beach, CA. It's made from a recycled wine barrel and the steel bands that held it together. The main frame is made from flat stock steel.

The legs are made from the barrel staves which are bolted to the metal frame. The table top is made from the ends of the barrel by ripping down the oak and then gluing the pieces together. The top is then planed down to a semi-flat surface in order to maintain the character of the wood as much as possible. The entire table is stained and painted.
