No. 2 is made from a grinding disc, washer, big screw, threaded rod and a can thats filled with broken tempered glass (it's not sharp at all). The blossom is mounted to the can, so you can easily exchange the glass for sand, dirt, nails, screws ect.

Pros:
They are made entirely of found/recycled objects.
They never need water.
They are always in bloom.
They don't attract bees.

Cons:
They don't smell like flowers

This is a piece I made for the "Spurious Falls" movie premier. The opening was a huge success and now it's time for Le Flower Industriale to find a new home. She is made from metal grinding discs, saw blades, propane bottles, washers, bolts, sheet metal, threaded rod, snow chains, a wire wheel, and a camera lense. The flower is mounted to a wood base that sits inside the bucket. Then sand bags are placed on top of the wood for weight. Then the snow tire chains are placed on top for aesthetics. This makes her very easy to transport and almost impossible to tip over. You can also put any material of your choice in the bucket...i.e. sand, dirt, nails, marbles ect.
