Stasis started out as a kinetic sculpture made from towel ring holders, but the perfect point of balance could never be achieved so a new road was taken. I ended up turning it upside down and mounting it on a truck brake disc rotor with bearings. The end result is a very warm abstract contemporary piece that can turn.
